Raindrops keep falling on my head… drip drip drip…
Do you ever notice that the little moments, the little things each day, that by the time you’ve realized them, your whole life has changed?
Recently I’ve been trying to be more intentional about the way I live and experience my life. I used to doodle and draw and write and cut pictures and words out of beautiful magazines and books and literally anything I could get my hands on, for ideas, inspiration, motivation. I read, all the time. Anything and everything. But, even though I love to read about others, I want to make a habit of penning my own story. Of intentionally trying new things and going new places so when I get to end of another year I’m not disappointed in my life. Because it’s MY LIFE. And no one else can live it for me. I’m writing down what I eat, when I exercise and what I do, how my day was, how I felt certain times of day, if I was bored, hungry, irritated, accomplished.
I’ve heard one of the best ways to accomplish a change is to track it- hence the writing down of all the things. We are only two weeks into 2020 and yes I’ve already fallen off the wagon but there’s grace in the come up, no one is perfect, but there is glory in the TRY.
I’ve already written more this month than I probably did all of last year. So here’s to you and your goals, resolutions, intentions, the word or bible verse you picked for 2020. Keep going. Persevere. Make a change. Do good. Be you.
