It’s been a rough week in #ok and #texas because of unprecedented #weather and #cold temperatures + not having an infrastructure that supports such extremes. #snowmaggedon2021

Super thankful for my #husband and all the men & women #firstresponders in our community who have been dealing with this crazy weather and the fallout: flooding buildings, downed power lines, fire alarms 🚨 and all the normal calls in between all of that. Not just because my husband chose this profession or this profession chose him, I firmly believe it takes a special person to succeed (coming home after each shift is my definition of #success). One must be of sound mind, strong body, and be willing to sacrifice personal + family time- have the internal fortitude + 🔥 to get better + better each day; to get stronger for oneself + for the strength of the crew + to always have the mindset that the most important things to do are the best you can each day && to come home after each and every shift.
